Skywave AC Adapter

With the low noise C. Crane AC Adapter you can power the CC Skywave™ or charge NiMH batteries while they are in the radio. The CC Skywave™ will recharge a set of 2 AA NiMH batteries in less than 10 hours. Never mix batteries with different chemistries, or mix old and new batteries together in the radio. It has a 6-foot cord.

One of the smallest multiband radios with SSB, the new Skywave-SSB has everything the original Skywave has. But we continue to have a select group of radio enthusiasts who want more... "The CC Skywave has shortwave but it would be perfect if it had Single Side Band". We did it. The new circuit also allowed us to improve the audio and reception slightly while keeping the layout as intuitive as possible.

You can now listen to Hams, long-range aviation (commercial and military), maritime, space and even spy transmissions from all over the world. Single Side Band is an efficient and reliable way to get long range information without Internet or satellite and it's not available on your smartphone. Ham radio operators play a critical part in emergencies when virtually all normal communication is down.

Included is a CC Shortwave Reel Antenna, a pair of original CC Buds, and a faux leather carry case.
